We recommend all of you to buy an overseas travel insurance policy for your own protection before departure for Japan.
In addition to the above, we would like to inform you that FALIA will purchase accident insurance at our expense. The insured period will be nine days, from September 1 to September 10, during the seminar.
The insured persons are all of the participants and death benefit of JPY 2 million shall be paid to your legal heir in case of your accidental death during the seminar period. Outpatient benefit of JPY 2,000 per day and inpatient benefit of JPY 5,000 per day will be paid to the insured person.

There are four seasons in Japan, namely Spring (Mar. – May), Summer (June – Aug.), Autumn (Sept. – Nov.) and Winter (Dec. – Feb.).
The average daytime temperature in early September is between 28°C and 30°C.

Early September in Japan is still hot and humid. We recommend bringing light clothing, a hat, sunglasses, and other items to protect yourself from the heat.
As air conditioning is commonly used indoors, we also recommend bringing a light jacket or cardigan for your comfort.
Business attire is preferable for September 2 (Wed.) as we will be taking group photos. Business casual is acceptable for all other dates.
You can withdraw Japanese Yen from ATMs at 7-eleven stores and LAWSON stores (Convenience Stores) using your "INTERNATIONAL" credit cards issued in your country such as "Visa" and "Master".
During the seminar, you will have several opportunities to exchange name cards with other participants, lecturers, and FALIA staff. Please prepare your name cards enough to be given to them.
Breakfast is included in the official hotel’s accommodation fee, except on September 9, as the tour starts early. FALIA will provide light meals (rice balls, sandwiches and drinks) on the bus instead.
Weekday lunches for the first 3 days and the farewell lunch during the off-site outing are covered by FALIA. However, if you have dietary restrictions and cannot eat the provided meals, personal food expenses will not be covered. (On the 4th and 5th days of the program, please enjoy lunch freely at any place of your choice.)
*Please note that lunch has already been reserved for the group on the first three days. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in avoiding last-minute cancellations, except in unavoidable circumstances, as cancellation fees will apply.
All other meals, including lunches on the 4th and 5th days and all weekend lunches and dinners, will be at the participants’ own expense.
You can exchange currency (limited currencies available) and purchase a SIM card at the convenience store “FamilyMart Hanzomon Eki Minami” near Hotel Grand Arc Hanzomon. Services may vary. It is a two‑minute walk from the hotel.
